On 17 December 2023, our first charity event of December took us to the Lehuo Children’s Home in Taoyuan. President Liu Chun-sheng led the directors and supervisors there to donate supplies and a meal subsidy.
The weather that day was very cold, but the President was determined to give the children a warm Christmas. Besides the supplies, the association specially invited the shawarma food truck from the Mule Market to come along to the children’s home and make shawarma fresh in the yard. On a cold day, the staff and children got to enjoy a hot meal.
The association’s directors and supervisors put on Santa hats, and some went all the way with a full Santa Claus outfit. The supplies were unloaded, the food truck’s griddle heated up, and the afternoon at the children’s home took on a festive buzz.
