On 4 October 2023, our President Liu Chun-sheng led officers from every level of the association to Landi Children’s Home, a private institution in Taoyuan City affiliated with the Taoyuan City Landi Foundation, to donate bread meal boxes and a cash gift toward extra meals. This was the first stop of the association’s charitable activities in October.
The bread meal boxes the association brought along were meant to add a little variety to the children’s table; the cash gift was left to the home to use as it sees fit, to help cover everyday meals.
What we take from society, we give back to society. The association’s vision is to help more disadvantaged groups and to care for the corners of society that are overlooked. This stop was only the beginning; two more activities were to follow in October.
